What is the chapter Reverse Culture Shock about?

Many of my Korean friends spent time other countries so I wrote this chapter for them.

If you ask a fish, how is the water? The fish would say, what water???
Then you take the fish out of the water and then 1 year later put him back in the water,

Ohhh! Mr. Fish would be very confused!

Yes! That is what Reverse culture shock is about

I have some friends who experienced this.

I am sure you do. Many people struggle transitioning back to Korea. Some of them became foreignized and prefer western ways

Foreignized? What do you mean

Well as I said in my book, culture is a strategy to deal with reality and these Koreans have a new way of thinking and behaving.

Yea! Many Koreans really change to western style after traveling

Yes and the problem is that they now feel judged by Koreans who try to make them forget their western ways.

So what should they do?

This chapter is all about that, the mixed feelings, dealing with the stress of it all as well as tips on keeping your English.

Ohh I know so many people who should read this chapter! What are some tips for keeping your English!

Make some foreigner friends. They will be very easy to get to get along with now that you understand American culture more deeply.
