Professor Kessler Explores the Unique Miskolctapolca Cave Baths in Hungary

Miskolctapolca Cave Baths became a real pleasure resort at the turn-around of 1920-1930 years and it was qualified as a recreation area in 1934. The lake bath was built based on plans of Bálint Szeghalmy in 1938, that was built on a hot water lake and meant a round shape building. The Cave bath of Miskolctapolca is unique in Europe, a bathing resort placed in a cave and above hot fountains. The 30 °C- temperature water and the climate of the cave has curing power, especially in joint-case.
