Entrepreneurship, startup, and idea competitions offer an excellent opportunity for students to accelerate learning, foster creativity, and drive innovation. It enables students to bridge theoretical knowledge from the classroom to real-world applications. Through these experiences, students cultivate resourcefulness, explore unfamiliar domains, and grasp the invaluable iterative approach, which becomes a cornerstone of their future professional journeys.
The “Shark Tank of Wellness” student global competition stands out as a unique global challenge organized by the Global Wellness Institute. University students have the opportunity to submit their most innovative, impactful idea for the wellness industry. Submissions take the form of a written application as well as a two minute video presentation of the idea. The top three finalists are flown to the location of the annual Global Wellness Summit to defend their ideas to the Wellness Sharks for a chance to win their share of $10,000. Today, I shared this opportunity with some students from my Wellness Research Lab at Dongseo University.
In 2021, Dongseo University student Anh Duong was a winner, and I hope this year, we can continue her legacy!
